Using the word 'gook' to describe an asian population we are at war with is no less dehumanizing (the point, really) than calling the troops occupying Iraq "Jews". My complaint is the the former is considered good ole GI Joe sloganeering, and the latter is considered by many to be cause for immediate capital punishment. I do not follow that creed.

Iraqis are not fond of Israel and its inhabitants, for reasons that could be discussed and debated for weeks. The fact that they use the word as a pejorative is simply a fact, not an invitation to debate whose use of a racial slur is worse than another's use of a racial slur.
