WASHINGTON (AP) - Karl Rove's lawyers are boning up just in case he's indicted in the C-I-A leak investigation.
The presidential aide's legal team has made contingency plans to defend him in both court and in public. They've consulted with former Justice Department official Mark Corallo and G-O-P strategist Ed Gillespie.
Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald met with Rove lawyer Robert Luskin at a private law firm Tuesday, heightening White House fears for Rove's future. Fitzgerald also met a presiding judge Wednesday.
