Someone down at Occupy Wall Street noted that a bunch of food trucks are gathering around the protest. Four of them would be able to take orders for the protesters. So if you want to feed those trying to hold the banksters accountable, call one of these food trucks.

I didn't order a pizza but I did donate! I just happen to be in NYC next weekend (I've never been to NYC) so I am pretty excited..I finally received a payout for what was owed to me from a couple years ago when AT&T laid me off, so I am able to visit my friend for his 30th b-day. I will def be stopping by the protests.

It sucked at the time, but luckily after about 9 months I was able to find another job with similar pay...so I was very very lucky compared to most! However, a trip to NYC is expensive from Michigan so the money I was rightfully paid made it possible for me with all the other bills we all juggle from day to day.

***and as an edit, I never would have received the money due to me if I didn't have the CWA to represent me there. Go unions!

I wonder how you can know that the people got the food.

I so wish I could be there with them! The day that they're doing this here in DC, I'll be on the train coming back from NYC. And the day before, when I get to NY, I won't have time to go to Wall Street, I have a dinner and a concert and then to bed :((((( I miss everything.

16. If I am going to donate money for food

it sure as hell is not going to be Thai food for protestors with Ipads and designer clothes.

There are others in the world who need food and I don't think they care if it is Thai or pizza or whatever...rice would suffice. This food for protesters thing is ridiculous, imo.
