Letter To The Editor: Palin more qualified than Obama, Sotomayor a failure...
Here's a lovely letter from the AZ republic. Of course, it comes from some shit head in Gilbert. Which is about 97 percent middle to upper middle class white people.

http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/opinions/articles/2009/08/15/20090815satlets151.html

"To the many letter writers who continually attack Sarah Palin and her qualifications, I'd like to say this:

Your opinion that Sarah Palin is "one of the most grossly unqualified people to have ever run for public office" is just that ... your opinion. That doesn't make it a fact.

Please remember that at least an equal number of people hold exactly the same opinion of Barack Obama.

In the latter case, Obama is rapidly converting opinion to fact.

Perhaps Kyl and McCain's opinion of Justice Sonia Sotomayor is directly related to the fact that 60 percent of her rulings reviewed by the Supreme Court were reversed by that court. Not exactly a shining recommendation.

Would you be promoted if you were wrong on the job 60 percent of the time? I'm very disappointed to know that we have such an inept performer on the Supreme Court. - Sara Piffson, Gilbert"

---------------------------------------------------

Oy Vey. Sara, you are one of the dumbest motherfuckers to ever write into the republic. And that's saying a lot considering it is regularly riddled with stupid.

ugh. :banghead:

1. I wish I could reprint one LTTE that was in my local
paper this week. The man is deranged and has been ever since a Dem, specifically President Obama, got in.

I so want to reply, but can't. I worked there, and the owner and I didn't see eye to eye.;)

Here's the website if you care to browse the .pdf, by Henry Pace, who calls Obama the 'gentleman'. With quotes. :eyes:

I don't know whether to get angry at these morons or feel sympathy for them.

4. An equal number think Obama is grossly unqualified... and that is becoming fact?
I guess that one hasn't seen the poll numbers recently.

Tool or fool? Either way, she is just an example of exactly what is wrong with this country. Stupidity.

6. White girl with big bewbies t-shirt needing 5 schools and 6 years...
Edited on Sat Aug-15-09 10:41 PM by BlooInBloo
just to get a BA in journalism, versus brown girl high-school valedictorian, college summa cum laude, where it took the brown girl just 1 more year to get BOTH her BA and her JD from two top schools.

Yah, I see the comparison.

7. My response to the AZ Republic re: this Letter to the Editor

Since I live in Phoenix, Arizona, I felt the need to leave a comment at the Arizona Republic regarding this Letter to the Editor. Here is what I wrote:

Mrs. Palin is nothing but a right-wing whack job, not to mention a quitter, who is at the very least intellectually dishonest. The people who worship this woman are the same people who believe that Obama is not an American citizen, carry nazi and swastika signs, and can't handle the fact that the demographics of this country are changing. These people are hoping for the South to rise once again. They rely on distortions, lies, and fear instead of arguing on philisophical, moral, and intellectual grounds. Unfortunately, Mrs. Palin must have been absent on the days that these skills were taught during the five different colleges she attended in the span of six years.

In terms of polling, more people have a favorable opinion of both the PRESIDENT and JUSTICE Sotomayor than that of Mrs. Palin. Here is a link to the recent CNN poll which shows her favorability rating at 39% (http://politicalticker.blog... Specifically, the President's job approval has dropped from the mid to high 60's to the mid to lower 50's. That is hardly comparable to a 39% approval rate.

Mrs. Palin cannot hold a candle when it comes the intellectual capabilities of the President of the United States. That would be the equivalent of bringing a knife to a gun fight.

However, when it comes to Mrs. Palin, there is no one better when it comes to questioning people's patriotism, playing to their fears, and promoting hate.
