i know, it's not 'good', i know, it's not 'fair' i know, it ain't 'christian' or whatever

but i hate the motherhumpers

they truly want President Obama fail.

i was highly optimistic after the election that bipartisanship was possible, after the last three days, i don't care.

1. perhaps the other opposition parties might overtake the GOP
what would be nice is that we would have a left coalition Democrats, Socialists, Greens and others. Also have proportional representation. No rights wings.

2. I could not agree MORE! Obama has done his part. These guys think THEY won the election.
I'd like to personally rub their faces in their defeat, these frickin bastids. I can't even stand to look at them for more than a couple of minutes...

3. Of course they want him to fail...........
They want him to fail for political reasons only, they don't care about the country. If Obama succeeds than the republicans won't win an election for a very loooooong time. All they care about is power and holding on to that power to enrich themselves and the wealthy.

4. It's fair
Think of it as Karma.

They were making it clear before the inauguration that they would continue their obstructionist ways. They are so desperate to see Obama fail that they don't care if the whole country collapses. Personally, I think their actions are bordering on, if not out right treason.

Obama tried nice, now it's time to smack them down (this should also make it clear to him that the DOJ needs to go after Bushco). He needs to ask for some airtime and take his case to the people.

5. I don't want them to destroy the republicans I do want them to understand this though:
Edited on Wed Jan-28-09 04:31 PM by kenny blankenship
the republicans are out to destroy YOU. I never believed the Republicans were going to change their ways and they haven't.

You can listen to them, but where they want you to compromise, you must understand it's not for your health and wellbeing that they are standing in the way.

They will step aside only when they think they have dug a deep enough pit for you to fall in and break your neck.

Do not go to them.

6. Dear GOP, your fate is in your own hands.
Obama has given you a seat at the table, so don't obstruct out of spite.

they would have been gone long ago.

13. there's a difference between "the republican party" and "THOSE particular republicans"
personally, i want to see THOSE particular republicans booted out of office, shamed, and humiliated.
i want their right-wing constituency to recognize that the tactics they have used are, at best, no longer operative.
i want the republican party to become something the rest of us can live with. genuine bipartisanship, genuine conservativism (as opposed to false rhetorical conservativism), practical, gentlemanly. something i could live with losing to on occassion.

hopefully their constituency will recognize that as a good strategy for them.

otherwise, they'll keep putting up froth-mouth nutjobs and, hopefully, we'll keep clobbering them. which would be just peachy with me, as long as we keep winning.

i can't deal with another shrub-like president in my lifetime.

14. I'm with you.
Burn it down. The GOP is no better for America than are neo-Nazi groups, the KKK, or any other crazy cult. And that is all the GOP is anymore - a political cult with a name brand stolen from more reasonable people...
