CBS, CMTV; Disney owns ABC, ESPN; Time-Warner TBS-AOL owns CNN, HBO, TBS; NewsCorp/Fox owns guess who? Fox, Fox, Fox and Fox.

Just in case anyone was wondering who controls the TV waves.

7. A media firm is always beholden to its owner, whether its a large corporation or a single owner.
To say that somehow a single owner will be "less biased" than a large corporation is naive. If you need to research this, do a search for "Hearst, William Randolph." Or watch Citizen Kane.

wouldn't it still be more diverse than when a single owner has a large conglomerate of media companies, leaving only a small group that owns mostly everything. Therefore, they have the ability to saturate the media market with their own agenda. I think the problem hear is that these few corporations seem to own just about everything, which doesn't leave much room for anyone that doesn't fit in to their own agenda.
