26. I think she and people like her actually believe that the
troops are protecting our freedom. I mean that's what they've been told, so in their minds it must be true. Nevermind stopping to think about it --- critical thinking is not an issue for these people.

Mind you I'm NOT defending Palin and her ilk.

And it doesn't exactly involve a crapload of critical thinking. Just a little.

3. I agree. FUCK YOU, Sarah Palin.
The war is all bullshit. Innocent men and women have died because of the lies of your party and your pResident. And you're no better.

Shame on you, if you had any shame, but you don't. You're just an adulterous tramp who expects everyone to buy into your bullshit. And some of us are too smart for that.

May you soon find yourself in the same place Katherine Harris is at. (Used up and thrown out by the Republican Party.)

13. that is true......he didn't really want to go to Iraq, but it was a good idea to get
rid of this bad apple, and she is so hell-bent on her own ambitious mission, she even sacrifices her own flesh and blood to further her agenda.

what a horrible, horrible woman, mother, and human being.

if we don't seize Iraq's oil. But yeah, she is using her son as a political tool.

I never knew that we were such a weak and vulnerable country!

Amazing; this evil creature sent her eldest son to Iraq so that he could be used as a talking point!

...your TrackEnfield is in Iraq because:

1. He was too stupid and undisciplined to go to college (a chip off the First Fuckstick, he is); and
2. The judge said jail or Army.

Fuck off, America's Little Tweaker.

20. Track will relly be in harm's way, protecting the top brass.
AP:

"The 19-year-old will provide security for his brigade's top officers."

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5h21ZbzgPbTVRftcJPT5vkHkonY5QD934U2D80

Unless the top commanders of the Stryker Brigade Combat Team of the 25th Infantry Division are going to be going out on patrols on a regular basis, he'll be pretty safe while defending the 1st amendment and that part of the constitution which, according to Palin, makes the Veep a fourth branch of government.

Funnyhow a few months ago she didn't even know what a VP did but now all of a sudden is expert on the intentions of the Founding Fathers and the constitution.

22. Not long ago, there was a Dem running for congress who was a vet of this conflict ...
and the Repukes painted him as sitting in a nice safe office in Kuwait, instead of anywhere in the thick of things ...

Of course, when a Repuke goes (and actually does that "safe office in Kuwait" deal), you'd hear them spin it as "Nowhere is absolutely safe!" ... something they didn't say about Al Gore's tour in Vietnam, while Fratboy was getting naked in bars ...

He got a choice of prison or the Army from a judge when he was arrested for selling drugs.

Google this - I saw this yesterday, and do not have a source, but I saw it several places here as well.

the military - dumb stupid animal(s) to be used as pawns in foreign policy.

All throughout PNAC it discusses protecting US "interests" around the world. Our military has become free mercenaries for our corporatist government.

35. How did Iraq threaten our freedom of speech again?
That's right, it didn't. Thinking they hate us cause of our freedoms is a form of extreme self-flattery that's also highly dangerous; they hate us cause of our presence.

And someone who shoves reporters into free speech zones and denies access to the free press should maybe stay away from the topic of free speech.
