I tend to come down on the side of free speech and free press even before that of my own presidential candidate. So what would you do about Larry Johnson? I can't really think of anything that can or should be done at the present time. I just took a quick glance at his site, and I don't think it's even libelous, given that it purports to be editorial commentary.

But he stopped getting the attention he wanted by gloming onto the Plame issue. After a while it became apparent he had nothing to add to the discussion besides cut-and-paste reprints of VIPS press releases.

So in order to maintain the attention he craves he ginned up a new cottage industry in Hillary ass-kissing and kooky right-wing Obama bashing. Now he cuts-and-pastes Drudge and just flat-out makes shit up. Whatever it takes to keep the hit count up, I suppose.
