The video is a little blurry, but Dean was very outspoken. Todd tried to draw him in about Bill Clinton, but Dean remained neutral and respectful...tactful.

Then Todd talked over him to say that it was a Democratic congress. Dean had squeeze his words in to say Chuck you know very well that the Democratic congress is being held hostage by Republican senators. Too many Republican senators to get anything done right now. Says we need a larger majority in the Senate. Talks about Mitch McConnell et al holding things up.

He says Barack Obama will give them a little something of what they want if they will do something they have not done....be a little bit flexible and think about the American people for a change. Says we need to stop letting the ideologues control everything in the Republican party and get something done.

4. Me too. He's playing the role of...
...Terry Francona, having to deal with and spin all of the different personalities within the dem party. He does a great job and I wish all the dems were like him.

6. You are so right about all the personalities he must deal with in the party.
Very good point.

He was so tactful.

3. AWESOME
a Dem with COURAGE and FORCE who is willing to be flexible but not roll over and insists the other side play ball too.

Rock it, Dean.

8. I
couldn't agree more. We need to negotiate on some things. People will say he is flip flopping, and moving to the center, but if you don't give a little you wont get anything.

9. Dean made it clear that the decision is Hillary's...
to have her name placed in nomination. Todd asked "Senator Clinton, not Senator Obama?"

Dean said yes, that is right. Said the decision was hers.

I was just listening to Ed Schultz and David Shuster. I agree with them that this is a way to get her name on the ticket as VP.
