A week before the Iowa caucus where John Kerry pulled a surprise victory in January, 2004, Ted Kennedy introduces John Kerry at a rally in Dubuque, Iowa.

Portions of this are in an upcoming documentary about the 2004 election. More to come...

1. Those were the days I had hope
They are both my Senator's and whatever mistakes have been made, I will always have the deepest respect and love for the both of them.
I couldn't watch the entire video, I still hurt over 2004...

Kerry may not have been the most articulate speaker, but you don't get much out of right wing sound bites.

He won, it was taken from him just our beloved Gore.

I don't care for any of the Dem's running now, with the exception of Kucinich and Richardson. We never or rarely see either one on the idiot box. It's all about Hillary and Obama.:boring:

2. It would be very difficult for a man to know that he actually won the
Presidency and then have to deal with an incompetent one that was able to steal it from him.Oh How History would have been altered....for the good

3. This brings back fond memories.
And also reminds me what should have been, and makes me incredibly sad.

I wonder how much better off America would be with President Kerry!!
