I'm guessing Zogby. It will take a lot of courage for a major polling group to announce they believe the 04 election was a fraud.

28. and it seems it will happen again
I was raised in Ohio, and to be honest, all the voting problems are shocking. My religious family doesn't seem to want to do anything about it. They stick their heads in the sand. I'm not sure what * would have to do to get thrown out of office. Personally, I was hoping on that lawsuit over the voting of 2004, but the wheels grind much too slowly. Look at how long the Fitzgerald's investigation has taken.
My only hope is that truth will win in the end.

Hey, I am from Ohio also, so you are not alone! Sometimes it sure feels like it though. After the 2004 election when as a poll worker I kept telling all those provisional voters that their vote would be counted, I was really bummed out. Heck, now I doubt that the regular votes even got counted correctly.

14. According to the "leaker" posting at somethingawful.com
The Ohio election "fix" is common knowledge at the WH.

Everyone always takes presidential elections seriously, and anything can happen. I think Kerry actually did win, or at least would have won, but as a result of some stuff done in Ohio I won't go into, he didn't make it. This is one of the things people will go to jail over.

50. Not Kevin Phillips.
He was asked about hacked elections in 2000 and 2004 tonight (The Monitor, KPFT).

He thought 2000, if all the votes had been counted in Florida, would have gone to Gore. He did not think Ohio was stolen in 2004, he said.

To listen: http://archive.kpft.org
The Monitor - April 9
Phillips is the first interview, from about 15 minutes in to about 40 minutes in -- the election comment was after maybe 30 minutes.

He's the only one I can think of that does not follow lock step with the rest and although
he is right wing conservative; he cannot run for Prez because he is not native born so he
would have nothing to lose by opening Pandora's box and California is more liberal, he
would be painted as a "hero" there and probably win him votes.

Miller said it was somebody who had read his book, as well as Conyers and two others, and had been persuaded.

DeLay wouldn't read those books, nor would he have had time to in the past few months, as he scrambles to save his own skin.

DeLay is too thoroughly a sleaze to be the least bit interested in election reform.

33. I do not believe it will be Gore, I think it might be a Journalist
A respected Journalist.. (?)

Also, I remember reading this tease a while back, i can't remember how long it was now, or where i read it. i'd even forgotten about it until i heard Miller say it again on C-Span today. That was taped last week in March, and he said in the next few weeks/coming month. We're almost second week into April now, it has to happen in the next couple of weeks..

So i was thinking, who the hell would that be? Who has creds that Miller seemed to allude to possessing in the C/MSM?

Will it be Woodward? naaahhh..

Then all of a sudden Miller said something about the JFK assassination thingy, and pointed out that Oliver Stone/Jim Garrison is total garbage, it was a Lone Gunman, (Lee Harvey Oswald) blah blah blah blah...

All of a sudden, i listened to Miller with a different set of ears, and had to ask myself why is he doing this in this talk. Oh, But of Course! He needed to prove to the audience, that he's not a 'grassy knoll' theorist in order to give more credibility to his research proving/showing how the election of 2004 was stolen. Miller is probably being painted as a conspiracy nut, by the Washington media establishment and that's why they won't cover the story, won't do the book interview line ups.

ok.. I get it. but i was thinking it was really desperate of him to have gone a bit out of his way to try and trash Oliver Stone/Jim Garrison on the JFK assassination theory - why even bring it up?

He mentioned that Bobby Kennedy was also involved in the cover up of JFK and that really got me intrigued, so i went online and tripped over a couple of other transcripts of Miller interviews, and in each one he brings up the JFK assassination. I've been buried in reference material all afternoon related to that story.

But I come out of this thinking that Miller might be a disinformation artist... i'm not saying he is... i'm just asking myself the question and trying to sort out what his motives would be.

Because the Lone Gunman thing is pure bullshit and anyone claiming that Oswald managed to assassinate Kennedy with that piece of shit rifle, and on that angle is really full of it. I've seen too much evidence showing otherwise. They really ought to have come up with a better story to cover their tracks than that one.

42. I think Miller said google "AMWORLD" so i did.. ..
Edited on Sun Apr-09-06 06:33 PM by radio4progressives
The "Plan for a Coup in Cuba" was fully authorized by JFK and personally run by Robert Kennedy. Only about a dozen people in the US government knew the full scope of the plan, all of whom worked for either the military, the CIA, or reported directly to Robert. The Kennedys' plan was prepared primarily by the US military, with the CIA playing a major supporting role. Input was also obtained from key officials in a few other agencies, but most of those who worked on the plan knew only about carefully compartmentalized aspects, believing it to be a theoretical exercise in case a Cuban official volunteered to depose Fidel.

Unique and different from any previously disclosed operation, the Kennedys' "Plan for a Coup in Cuba" is revealed in this book for the first time. The CIA's code name for their part of the coup plan has never surfaced in any book, article, or government investigation. Officially declassified in 1999, "AMWORLD" is the cryptonym the CIA used for the plan in its classified internal documents. Since the overall coup plan was under the personal control of Attorney General Kennedy, who did not use a code-name for it, we call it "C-Day" in this book, a name entirely of our own invention. Its evocation of D-Day is intentional, since the Kennedys' plan included the possibility of a US military invasion.

~snip~

http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Assassinations_page/Ultimate_Sacrifice_Intro.html

and that lead me to searching under Lamar Waldron, which brought up a bunch of a very familiar names that are associated with the Iran Contra (i didn't know then, that these charachters were associated with the Kennedy Assassination)

Rafael "Chi Chi" Quintero flies right off the page, followed with the rest of the gang... http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/JFKwaldronL.htm

previously referred to interviews has Mark Crispen Miller singing the praises of Russo and his "stellar research and work" debunking Oliver Stone, Jim Garrison et al, and propping up the Lone Gunman canard..

Russo was a Robert Kennedy campaign staffer, turned JFK Assassination researcher, turned disinfo agent that ended up supporting the "Lone Gun theory" and that's just flat out too strange for words. (to me)

Note: according to a friend of mine who has a long working relationship with Russo, says that Russo is a serious researcher, but I haven't asked my friend why Russo went down this path..

on edit: for better clarity...

He thx the mafia was behind the assassination, or some CIA-mafia group of killers. He doesn't believe the Oliver Stone version of conspiracy, but he does believe the mafia was behind it, as well as the Sirhan Sirhan shooting of Bobby Kennedy I might add.

Although it could be a politician.

My money is on a respected journalist, someone who is part of the establishment, to be published in Newsweek, Time, US News, NY Times Magazine or the New Yorker. Someone like Jonathan Alter or Anna Quinlan.

Or perhaps it will be a retired politician who has come to be viewed as a statesman.

That could include Jimmy Carter or even Bill Clinton. It might even be Bill Richardson, as I believe there was monkey business in New Mexico, too.

I hope it's someone with an impeccable record, and I wish it would be an establishment type like David Broder, but I think that's unlikely.

In Miller's book, he did say that Edwards didn't want to give up the election, and wanted to push forward, but Kerry talked him out of it, because he didn't want them to go through negative media coverage like what happened to Gore & Liebermanm in 2000.

57. I know Bobby Kennedy, jr. is working on one...
for Rolling Stone. and Miller has been on his radio show-also Harvey Wasserman (The Free Press)
has been on the show and is an old friend of Bobby's. I missed the CSPAN show with Miller, but I think that could be what he was talking about

61. That CSPAN program was awesome. Simply awesome.
It's too bad it was on BookTV. Who the hell watches BookTV? It should have been on all three networks during prime time.
