Arab Ports Deal Saves Democrats and Impeaches Bush! Neocon Nightmare
Post 9/11 a Democratic administration could not approve this Ports Deal. BUT, if somehow the Dubai Ports World deal goes through under Bush it could give the Democrats their wildest dreams.

Let’s assume, for a moment, that the correctness of the view by most industry experts that the Dubai Ports World operation is among the most well funded, technologically sophisticated, and security oriented in the world.

Then these are the pretty substantial benefits of this relatively small business deal (U.S. part of the deal represents a small fraction):

1. DPW massive terminal operations would stand as prominent, and persistent proof that the Republican “war on terror” is a crock! Hussein is not the same as Bin Laden; all Arabs are not terrorists.

2. Republican house and senate is history, unable to distance themselves from Bush or to defend against Democratic demagoguery of the Ports issue in the Fall.

3. Democrats control congress and can actually bring Bush to account for his reall crimes in war and against the constitution.

4. Global Port Security will actually be improved since the Ports issue will force congress to get off its duff and act on the major port modernization and security proposals now languishing in committee.

Yeeehaaaaaa!!! What’s not to love!

This is the NeoCon nightmare, and the real reason for the firestorm from the right.

1. I never doubted that junior would engineer his own demise.
It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Suddenly, it's fun to be a librul.

2. Sadly, its still possible that Rove (or the Dems) could kill Deal and save
Bush and his minions in congress.
