Skyscrapers
The best of a batch I shot recently on my way to a lunch appointment downtown. The light was great that day. The first one has a sort of 'Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow' feel to it, which I liked.

It is funny how 'up' can read as 'down', isn't it?

3. I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really wish folks would ....
... but the basic information in their profiles so I could figure out what "here" means without posting or PMing.

(sigh) I understand concerns about privacy but ... well ... oh, well.

:hi:

Nice photos of the downtown (of whatever city it is that I just don't keep track of for every DUer from reading their posts and making notes - which seems sooooo obsessive).

13. Bummer
I understand wanting not to walk with the Canon/Nikon masses. Get something different. But.... I think you made a good decision. Not that I'm biased or anything.

I especially like the last one with the white clouds moving over head, great contrast of colors here.

12. I adore Chicago
and damn! The last time I was there, I was without a camera. It's a terrible place to be without a camera, because there's never more than 5 minutes that go by that you wish you didn't have one with you.

Also, genuine Chicago deep-dish pizza is the closest I'm ever going to get to heaven. And I grew up with the best seafood and soul food on the planet. Damn, I'm hungry all of a sudden...

16. Those are wonderful
I just downloaded a bunch I took in NYC. I don't normally do architecture or city stuff but it's NYC so what can you do? Maybe I'll post them.

I love the light and reflections on your buildings, particularly in the last one. The composition on the third one is terrific.

19. Please post some NYC shots!
I haven't been there in years and I miss it. And NanceGreggs is from there and never gets tired of seeing New York.

Thanks for your kind comments.
