This was the first thing I saw as we arrived at the convention center this morning. Loved it!!

Other news from Seattle: Randi gave a very long speech where she proposed several new programs, including a national march in DC on October 2nd. I'll summarize her speech later.

I just met Karen Lewis, the new union prez in Chicago. The Chicago teachers are the convention's celebrities. LOL

7. In all fairness,
the Arne protest is being organized by a group of radicals within the union and not AFT leadership. But still glad someone is organizing it:)
