Bored shitless with summer sports.
Sorry MLB just doesen't fly with me, quit them after the first strike. Going to the park is a financial adventure these days.

5. With the Badgers getting Wilson, mad, it makes them the heavy faves.

In the Legends, methinks the Cornhuskers might make Indianapolis their first year in. My Hawks? 8-4. The Buckeyes are ALWAYS dangerous. See if they can focus.

6. I have been off three days with nothing but heavy
rain. I have some block to lay, am putting on an addition at the era vet compound and I caught myself watching fishing and NASCAR shows. Now I'm ranting and raving all over the inter-tubes to pass the time. Well maybe poker, billiards, or womens professional bowling will be on tonight.

9.  The woman's World Cup, not bad, just not my thing
I have an old Schwinn 1 speed, fat tire bike from the early 60's. That is about my level of bike knowledge, except the combination of that little bitty seat and steroids could lead to 'man' problems. I just mostly watch College Football and Basketball with football #1 I think the sports page in the Herald-Leader has only missed one day in 2011 without a basketball story. This town is nuts. I like the Track but it don't like me.
What are you doing this summer?

10. Roll Tide
I think my Bama is going to do it again this year. Their defense is going to be amazing, and we've got a good JuCo transfer at wide receiver who should open the offense up for Trent Richardson.

Richardson has a good shot at a Heisman, too.

I'm also stoked for the Oregon/LSU game to open the season.

13. Lazarus and Liberal Dog weigh in...
...then I know we're getting close. Just a couple more. Auggie may be right. This may be it. I still think the NFL pulls it out. They'd be absolute assholes not to.

14. Your local park would be the Reds, right?
I thought they tried to keep it affordable?

15. Yes the Reds, I am sorry to report I have not even been
to the new Park. I will have to go as I saw games both at Crosley Field and Riverfront Stadium. You can park in Kentucky and walk over the bridge to save bucks. I have a beer distributor that I am shaking down for tickets this summer. I have not been in so long I'll report on that trip.

16. The CBS Sports channel has been showing football games all week.
All of them are Army-Navy games, but that will do for now. ESPNU had a HS 7v7 passing scrimmage too. Football is coming, with the NFL or not.
