Lost toddler survives for three days

Wandering boy managed to elude bobcats, coyotes, deep ponds and a police search


EXACTLY how 2½-year-old Kevin Brown survived for 69 hours and 16 minutes on his own around dark woods, tall grass and deep ponds may never be known.

But after vanishing from outside his home in Alvarado, Texas, last week he not only eluded roaming bobcats and coyotes but also the frantic search efforts of rescue helicopters, 40 police officers and 100 volunteers for almost three days.

There was a pic of him & his parents in yesterday's SA paper. I'm so happy he was found. Too many sad stories about kids lately.

They even had a scroll on local channels when he was found.

I'm glad that he was found safe.
