PA State Committee Meeting Rebroadcast on PCN -- Today (Sun.) & Monday
Edited on Sun Sep-10-06 12:15 PM by demodonkey
The Fall Meeting of the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee meeting will be rebroadcast in its entirety on PCN (the Pennsylvania Cable Network) TODAY and TOMORROW. Broadcast times are as follows:
Sunday (today) September 10: 3:00 to 4:30 PM eastern
Monday September 11, 1 PM to 2:30 PM eastern

You can watch the broadcast online here (at the above broadcast times only):

During the meeting I made an announcement of the upcoming launch of the Pollworkers For Democracy project, which VotePA is coordinating in Pennsylvania along with the national groups Mainstreet Moms, VoteTrustUSA, and Working Assets. The program will officially launch this coming Thursday.

While I was speaking, our Lt. Governor Catherine Baker Knoll held up one of the flyers I made up about Pollworkers For Democracy. She said that this program looks like a great idea. Mary Ann Weaver, Committeewoman and VotePA member from Lawrence County (and wife of 17th Dist. State Rep candidate Frank Weaver), followed me with a nice supportive comment on the P4D program and for legislation for Voter-Verified Paper Ballots and Records with audits. The P4D announcements come in the last 5-10 minutes of the meeting, so if you want to see demodonkey but do not want to hear the all the other speeches etc. tune in about 4:25 on Sunday and about 2:25 on Monday.

Bob Casey spoke earlier in the program for about 20 minutes or more along with lots of other PA and DNC officials. The Democrats announced "Voter Protection" programs from within the party and began training committee people for them over this weekend; this will of course be in addition to all the non-partisan Election Integrity and Election Protection efforts our groups are making.
