There hasn't been an overwhelming response in the original thread so I'm guessing neither 29th nor 30th are the best dates for a large number of our group so there has been some talk of moving the meetup to January.

How does Saturday, January 13th work (please feel free to suggest another date)?

3. It's been a loooong time (the opening of Fahrenheit 9/11) since I've made a DU meetup.

I didn't post on the other thread(s) about meeting between Xmas & New Year because I knew there was no way I'd be up to making the trip to the Cities that week -- between work and family stuff, it would just be too much.

AFTER the holidays is another thing altogether. Much more doable for me, timewise and stresswise. A Friday would be preferable to me, since I work on Sundays, but I can deal with a little sleep deprivation as long as it's not right in the middle of alot of other stuff going on.

Did you know the Blue State Ball (Air America) is on the 20th of January? It also could be fun to combine our meet-up with that event. (Then we could dance!)
