Wouldn't this be a great opportunity for Chicago area DU'ers to hold a super-sized meet up? Who knows who will be there, maybe Will Pitt, Malloy some of the admins? Just speculation by me but seeing the last YearlyKos on C-Span it certainly draws left minded luminaries of all sorts. There could be dozens of DU out of towners coming in and we can show em all a good time.

I know this is a long way off but for those flying in they need to book soon. Try to keep it in mind and keep this kicked. Let's start planning, or at least thinking about a huge Chicago DU welcome.

to making the one earlier this year. i was in the area, but too whipped by a bad trip out there to make it. and too chickem to take the drive back to where i was staying stone cold sober, let alone after something like that.

I get shit from my siblings all the time when I am in Milwaukee for family gatherings, and while I follow the Cubs and the Sox, I remain a Packer fan. Some things you just can't give up when you move. I will be rooting for the Bears in the Superbowl, since of course the Pack are out of the playoffs.
