1. Check out this page from the Cal Sec State:
http://vote.ss.ca.gov/DecJava/Java_intro.html

You pick which races you want to watch and park the viewer in the tray and you can click it open and shut and watch the results scroll by at whatever speed you pick. I have mine all set up and it looks very cool.

:hi:

2. the ca 50 race is weird
there is a primary for both parties and the special election to fill the seat...

the one we are interested in now is the seat! and the only link so far I find for it is the top one I posted.

Can you find a link for this race on the CA site?

4. What I linked to...
...is all I can find on the special viewer. However, the Sec of State has the usual results page you have to pick through. But it has the same shit....like it ia a primary race.

Weird, huh?

5. I would...
...but I already did this. I think I was vote #2, but not sure.

The CA-50 is a BIG race, IMO, and it would be nice to have it on the Greatest Page. If Busby takes it, IMO, the Repugs are in for mega shit in November. IIRC, that is about a 3/2 in fav of the Repugs district.

The crap that the Dukester did really really hurt the Repugs there. It is basically a snooty, rich area....and for one of "their own" to be caught taking bribes...well, suddenly he is about as welcome there as a turd in a punch bowl. Note the issue is "caught taking bribes" and not just the fact that the asshole took bribes. Soooo...that may help Busby ~~ because the Repugs want to look real righteous ALL the time ~~ even though they are the party of crooks and liars.

8. btw
I was very impressed with the new system we had in our precinct. You verify your vote three times: first on the screen then on the new paper print out window, then one last chance to cancel your ballot before it is offical.

the poll workers however were very unimpressive and quite inept in fact.

12. Nothing like that...
...was available where I voted. So thankfully I had a paper ballot. But what you had sounds good since there was verification on paper for your vote.

Boy, just minutes until the polls close....I think I am going to be up late ~~ mainly watching CA-50.

in the 50th are so pi**ed at Cunningham that they're staying home, and the actual vote count will be in Busby's favor!

32. Based on prior State results, probably 3+ hours.
I know I sat up waiting for all the biggies, and even the ones on the East Coast (where I am) took until 11PM or sometimes much later!

Calif is such a BIG State, I'm sure it's going to take a while!

45. They probably had to "doctor" the write-in results I'm guessing!
I voted a write-in of "Paper ballots only" against both Bonnie Dumanis and Dan McCallister. But they both show up as 100% on this page. Huh? I thought 100% means ALL votes! Did they not count my votes here (and not for Busby too with these Diebold central tabulated votes?)

Edited on Tue Jun-06-06 10:21 PM by LibDemAlways
that would tend to favor the repuke. If he's only up by 8 in the early absentee count, it could be a long night.

Well, what can I say? Lots of uninformed voters out there. Lots of people okay with losing civil liberties.

Boy, I'm glad I'm leaving this country soon. I don't know how to combat the willful ignorance anymore. Good luck, guys.
