While I can understand while Hillary supporters might feel a certain amount of glee (and I'm not knocking you for it) I don't think this has done your candidate any favors either. With Obama already capitalizing on some sympathy following the whole "bitter" debacle, the last thing she needs is people feeling even more sympathy. I don't mind so much that they were obviously focused on attacking Barack Obama, as much as I'm incensed that they think the American people are so stupid that we still care to hear about these non-issues.

People are dying in Iraq, gas is over $4 a gallon and the Bush Administration has just been shown to have planned and authorized torture at the highest levels. I remember some protest from DK supporters at the time, and from some supporters of the other candidates who were also marginalized. I don't remember it from the supporters of either Clinton or Obama, though.

I do remember a lot of dismissive responses from those groups when we DID bring it up.
