Using swiftboat tactics against Rove.
How about everyone starts stating that Rove did give out the secret information. Not as a if but as fact.If democrats just start saying "rove gave out secret information how can anyone in the administration be trusted with anything.Make them prove they had nothing to do with it instead of us trying to prove he did.

4. I'm not so sure that Rover really has guts. Bullies usually don't.
I think he's fine as long as he's the one causing distress but if the tables were turned, well, I think we'd see whimpering.

Kind of like Rush Limbaugh.

10. Yes that is why Rove won the Medal of Honor for his duty in Vietnam
Kerry only won a Silver Star and three Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star with "V" Device. Rove is certainly much braver than Kerry.

2. whisper campaigning is one of his tactics - just watch Bush's Brain
and you'll be able to pick and choose from many Rove dirty tricks. You're right, whisper campaigns do damage.

5. I say we shout it!

No need to whisper!

Rove is/was(if we are lucky) a master at this .

If we said it over and over again, it will stick.

Just think, just over this week end, more and more people are aware that something is not right with him.

Now more than before heis name is getting out there in a negative way.

6. LBJ once told a cohort to start a smear campaign against an opponent
by claiming the opponent slept with pigs or some such thing. Didn't matter how outrageous an accusation it was. The (main and only) IMPORTANT thing was - to MAKE THE OPPONENT DENY IT. It worked then. It works now. Why we haven't used it, I do NOT know. For LBJ, as I recall, it turned the tide for him in a local Texas campaign - when he was already pronounced DOA, and it brought him a surprise come-from-behind win. As the story goes (as I recall), that helped launch him in politics, and made him an instant player.

7. That's not swiftboat tactics...this is swiftboat tactics:
"Some people say Rove could be found almost every night of the week in the White House bathroom pleasuring Jeff Gannon. In fact, some nights it was hard to sleep because the grunts and groans were so loud, and they went on and on until the sun came up."

Them's there are swiftboat tactics.

8. It's The Game Of Proving A Negative
And yes, I'm already playing it...and having fun.

Now that enough wingnuts are hearing this story and it's murky, that's fine. Rove's now a traitor until proven otherwise. This is how they frame games, and we should do the same as well.

Forget facts, forget there's still indictments coming and if they do, and Rove's name, so much the better...if not, do as they do, just ignore you ever said it in the first place.

The question isn't if Rove is a traitor. It's how do you know Rove isn't? Make them spin out of that one.

9. It's simple. Rove's a fucking traitor. Make it repeated everywhere.
Repeat it, repeat it, repeat it, repeat it. Say it everywhere and tell Howard Dean to use it and re-use it.
