1. It hasn't even technically happened yet....
All that's happening is one journalist on a show to air tomorrow states that Rove is the guy. Technically nothing has happened until the Time information is actually turned over.

2. Has Time published the source yet? I don't think Lawrence..
O'Donnell's prediction on McLaughlin group qualifies as confirmation that Rove is the culprit.

7. That is the point .It is being buried.
It is much harder and difficult to find. It is NOT being treated as a top story!

11. And a little bit of a slant too. Giving an out to Rove. Don't trust
him. Remember the deal with that woman he wrote about that was lying about Clinton and the other woman he misquoted?

and confusing as he could. I plan to send him an email and call him on his poor "reporting."

this THING will take off next week (TUESDAY) if it is confirmed to be true. This will be the beginning of the END for the Bush Administration.

12. But we must make sure it becomes news. Think about it. It this was the
Clinton White House this would be front page news today! They would jump it holiday or not! They will try to bury this.We must keep it alive by nagging!

13. I see your point saracat but the process will take some time.
A good tact might be to express interest in the story and ask for some investigative journalism from the corporate media.

Connect the dots between the fixing of intelligence (DSM) with the bogus Niger/uranium lie in the Pres. State of the Union address (Joe Wilson had already reported back that it was false) with the mess in Iraq. (because that's why bush's numbers are falling, Iraq.)

But let's not keep opening the oven and let the cake go flat, we need to be at least a little subtle about this until the actual e-mails are released and the story builds.

If you recall the Watergate story, it took years to fully mature and bring down the vindictive and paranoid Nixon. And we held both the House and Senate back then and also had a media that wasn't so toady.

15. Exactly.OTOH, we haven't got "years".
And we also didn't "know" that the media could bury things. We used to trust them. Now , we must bring the stories to them and keep at them until they do so. If it wasn't for the persistence of the public, DSM would be dead as a doornail. It still isn't as important as it should be. I have worked with MSM, and believe me, a lot of interest generates coverage because interest translates into cash. And that is the true motivator!

Canceled the 4th of July Holiday, or Postponed it until the 7th or 8th.

14. Hilarious
Do a google search on Karl Rove Plame CIA, and you'll get a link to the Guardian from the UK and to a bunch of internet news sites. Not one single story from the "mainstream" media appears on the first couple of pages of that google search. It's amazing how the American "news media" have completely abandoned their duties as journalists.
