Very Cool Moment: Watch it
LIVE on C-SPAN: 9/11 CitizensWatch Co-founder Confronts Commissioner over Omission of Pakistani Wire Transfers to Atta

Event / Current News about 9-11
Date: Aug 06, 2005 - 02:37 PM

Last week live on C-SPAN Kyle F. Hence, Co-founder of 9/11 CitizensWatch, confronted the 9/11 Commission, its Vice-Chair Lee Hamilton and Ambassadors Jones and Ross regarding the omission from the 9/11 Report details of the ISI (Lt. Gen Mahmoud Ahmad) approved wire transfers to purported lead hijacker Atta via a bank in Dubai to two banks in Florida just prior to the attacks of 9/11.

See:
rtsp://cspanrm.fplive.net/cspan/project/iraq/iraq080205_project.rm

Hence's statement and questions begin at roughly 1 hour and 50 minutes into the two hour 9/11 Public Discourse Project event. Fast forward to 1:50 on the archived stream at C-SPAN.

Hence stated that Gen. Ahmad was sacked just two weeks after 9/11 and that it was Daniel Pearl's wife's belief (as elucidated in her book) that her husband was following this trail when he was kidnapped and subequently murdered.

These wire transfers were confirmed by the FBI and reported by Times of India, Agence France Press, ABC News and The Wall St. Journal. This statement and question occurred within the last ten minutes of the two hour 9/11 Public Discourse Project event held at the Woodrow Wilson International Center on August 2nd and broadcast live on C-SPAN from 9:30 to 11:30AM. Lee Hamilton attempted to cut off the CitizensWatch co-founder just as he mentioned the news sources for the story.

NOTE from Kyle F. Hence:

Given the limitations of discourse allowed by the 9/11 Public Discourse Project I was prevented on August 2nd from issueing a public challenge to the former Commissioner for a public debate regarding their performance relative to the first mandate given the Commission: that is to provide a full accounting of the facts and circumstances surrounding the attacks of September 11th.

Perhaps, a public campaign is in order now to challenge them to debate the 9/11 family members who have challenged their findings and researchers and whistleblowers ignored during their so-called investigation and subsequently since the release of their increasingly discredited report.

Timing is perfect as Lee Hamilton and the 9/11 Public Discourse Project are planning to issue a Report Card on the Congress performance on implementing the recommendations put forward by the Commission, this even as the Commission has avoided any public scrutiny on the findings of facts and circumstances, that is until Congresswoman McKinney and Congressman Grijalva sponsored all day briefings on the Hill on July 22nd.

1. Great question and the #$@!% panel just blows him off.
Former Ambassador Elizabeth Jones just says the US has been investigating terrorist financing and that it is an important issue.

Really. :o

What an outrage.

2. Did you notice how flustered Hamilton got? And yes, he was
given a non-answer. How do you spell cover-up?

3. Yes and there's no doubt of a cover-up. But the level of complacency is

staggering. For instance-- the panel didn't even seem to care about what Hence was saying-- they didn't even feel that they needed to address the issue at all. It's fucking ridiculous.

4. I have to disagree with you here. Hamilton's reaction spoke volumes.

He was Angry that Kyle brought this up. What really got to him was when Kyle mentions that Daniel Pearl's widow thought he (Pearl) was on the track of that financing before he was killed.

BTW.. I wish that Kyle would have off-the-cuff mention that Ahmad was meeting with Washington bigwigs in the week leading up to 9/11 and on the morning of 9/11 was having breakfast with Rep. Peter Goss and with Sen. Graham. Sen. Graham's office ignored strident warnings of 9/11 when DEA informant, Randy Glass, contacted Graham's office through his state senator. There is a video of an interview Glass gave to an NBC affiliate in Florida about this. It's on the Net and I'll look for it.

6. Yes, Hamilton did seem annoyed. But the rest of the panel were just
too complacent. They weren't even on the 9/11 commission were they? Yet they either didn't care about Hence's point or knew it was too dangerous to talk about. Disgusting worthless mother$%#@!ers.

I also liked how Hence tried to appeal to the journalists in the room to pick this up-- but, what a surprise, I have nada about this story. They either don't give a fuck or are in on the coverup. Assholes too.

Minor quibble-- Hence took a little too long to get to the point. A shorter and more incisive question might have woke people up a little more. Such as:
"We know the head of the Pakistani ISI was involved in transferring money to the lead 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta. Daniel Pearl was probably murdered for pursuing this story. Why was this critical information left out of the 9/11 commission report and what exactly was the role of Pakistan in 9/11?"

7. I don't think the others on the panel had a clue as to what Kyle
was talking about. Hamilton did. And yes, Kyle did take a little long getting to the point. You have to realize that prior to 9/11 Kyle was John Q Public, piloting boats, and am sure never, ever thought he would be voicing a question like that in so public (?) a forum.

As to the press? Ha! Pick it up? It's been out there for years now and they are doing their job very well by not reporting it. They are co-conspirators.

10. They knew question was coming. Had planned to not answer
This isn't a new issue. They've discussed how to deal with it
and chosen a plan. To disregard since they know the Media isn't going to do any serious coverage.

The real murderers will never see jail time.
Hence is just a pied piper for the neocon murderers.

13. how easy and cowardly it is for you to say that
If you don't like the question Kyle posed (or how he posed it), why don't you show the balls to go to such events and ask your own questions?

An echo chamber of paranoids, magnified by web power, is now guaranteed to accuse any and every effort of the 9/11 activists of being a planned action of the state. Do you care to show us the check stubs to Hence, or do you think it just suffices for you to say so when you slander another?

Shame on you.

9. My god what a bunch of assholes!
Hamilton was so condescending. As if it was some affront for someone to pose a real question.

These are the issues that we need to focus on. I know demolition is intriguing but this shit is confirmed just like Indira Singh's story about P-Tech.

Brazen Mother Fuckers. May they rot in hell.

11. Hamilton Chaired the House Investigation on the October Surprise
that concluded "Nothing to see here." He was also co-chairman of an
investigation into Iran-Contra matter. It seems this Dem is always
ready to reach across the aisle in the spirit of bi-partisanship and
help the Pukes cover up their dirty work.
