The anti-freedom crowd in action.
Another fine example of the sort of 2 faced scum that make up the anti-RKBA crowd....

Million Mom Marcher Barbara Graham shoots innocent man Kikko Smith - also known as Barbara Lipscomb.

"You can't tell the kids to stop the violence with the mothers running around like this." --- Mary Ann Smith, after her son was shot by a Million Mom Marcher

After helping to organize the Million Mom March, and even speaking at the event, Barbara Graham shot an innocent man. Now he is paralyzed for life.

And look at how many gun control laws this 2 faced scum broke; http://www.tincher.to/mmmcharge.htm

Million Mom Marcher Barbara Graham was convicted on nine counts of breaking seven different gun-control laws after she shot construction worker Kikko Smith. Million Mom March (MMM) co-organizer Barbara Graham is also known as Barbara Lipscomb, Barbara Graham, Barbara Martin, Barbara Ann Lipscomb, Barbara Ann Graham, and Barbara Ann Martin.

The press release Woman Sentenced for Shooting and Paralyzing Innocent Unarmed Man from the U.S. Department of Justice lists some of the charges: Assault With Intent To Kill While Armed, Aggravated Assault While Armed, Mayhem While Armed, three separate counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime of Violence, and other related gun charges.

1. gun grabbers
I have to say that I am a liberal second amendment supporter. I also believe strongly that the 2nd amendment makes it clear that the 2nd is for individual gun rights and not just militia.
That is just me.

you are not alone, and some of the antis represented on this board comprise the absolute lunatic fringe of the progressive movement.

4. I think it is terrible
whenever anyone is shot, and I'm glad this woman was brought to justice. However, I still support the second amendment. Making sure whackos don't get guns by strengthening gun laws (like those invovling gun shows) and having mandatory safety and gun handling courses I believe are the ways to control guns.

6. Wow...

You mean you think she should have gone free?

"The press release Woman Sentenced for Shooting and Paralyzing Innocent Unarmed Man from the U.S. Department of Justice lists some of the charges"
You mean this press release?

"We are sorry, but we are unable to locate the page you requested on the Department of Justice Website."

http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/dc/press/01177.html

Wow, I'm convinced....you have to admire someone like timm, so lame that he has to make up DOJ press releases out of whole cloth to support his idiotic argument. Meanwhile, do you REALLY think this account of this poor woman's tragic mistake shows that there ought to be MORE guns on the street?

By the way, the same website has a page lying about Al Gore and the Internet, and another comparing Gore unfavorably to Dan Quayle...

Does the RKBA crowd EVER read anything sane people read?

8. After discussion with other mods and admin
we believe this thread falls under this clause of the DU rules:

Please note that, strictly speaking, sweeping statements about entire groups of fellow progressives are not considered personal attacks. However, they are often inflammatory and counterproductive and the moderators have broad discretion to remove such posts in the interests of keeping the peace on the message board.

Starting a thread entitled "The anti-freedom crowd in action" IS certain to offend a portion of our fellow progressives on this board.
