WTF? There is nothing worse than feeling too sick to think and be forced to wade through the limited medical resources we have in northern NH to get some help without mounting up a back breaking load of medical bills. A funeral would be cheaper at this point in my life.

6. Oh my...
Guess you know to cut out all fat..immediately! My younger sister actually avoided gallbladder surgery by cutting out almost all fat from her diet. Don't know how healthy it was, but it worked for her. I hope you can get the medical attention you need...and soon!

It might be appendicitis. I had that and it was THE worst pain ever. Please update us after you see the doc. Don't worry about the bills. Health is more important than money.

If you are unemployeed I think you can get even cheaper and/or free service if you can prove your unemployment. I posted this in GD about a week ago

We have them all over Delaware but as Happy Harry's but only 2 in the area provide that service.

I'm sorry to have gotten your hopes up with that. I know Wal-mart has the clinincs too but not as widespread

14. Go to the healthfood store
and get some oil of oreganol wildcrafted, it will at least begin to kill the infection, if that is what you have, and certainly won't hurt, if you don't! Also lots of Vit CCC! Do you have some Omega 3 oil caps as well for immflamation? Cherries, blueberries?? This should help until you can get to a clinic! Get Well soon!!! Best wishes!

Probably makes to much for Medicaid or Medical Assistance, but doesn't have an employer-sponsored or group health care plan. That's where most uninsured people tend to fall.

24. Drink One Tbl Apple Cider Vinegar in 8 oz Apple Juice.
That seems to be the consensus at Earth Clinic, anyhow:

http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/gall_bladder_attacks.html

My suggestion is if you have a Gallbladder attack, drink 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of apple juice. This should relieve the pain fairly quickly.

If the pain does not subside or if you are showing signs of jaundice, go to the ER even If you are facing indentured servitude--because this shit CAN kill you if you ignore it and let an infection take hold.

Good luck and feel better!

28. I keep trying to think of something wise to say to you.
Maybe it would be less expensive to deal with it now?

Something is really fucking wrong with this country if unusually fine people like you can't afford healthcare. And people like me, starting Monday, I guess.

I'll say a prayer.

31. Have you tried calling the Office for the Aging?
You don't look like you are old enough (the magic number to qualifying is 60). If mr. graywarrior is around that age you might find some help with other bills thereby freeing up monies for small medical bills.

34. About 2 months ago, I had some fried meat and a big helping of

turnip greens for supper. I had what I beleive was a gall bladder attack.

Everyone says stay off fried food, as they have to you. My sister, who had her gall bladder removed, said roughage (i.e., greens) could cause it too. So I pretty much cut out greens, but eat other veg. such as green beans.

Also bought some "Liv-Gall Cleanse" from a local health food store.

Best of luck to you.

36. I haven't had the problem since. I took the capsule, one a day, for a while.

But I can't say that was what prevented another attack.

I guess I mainly figured, it couldn't hurt. And I'm a great believer in alternative medicine.

Once they get you they want to do all kinds of tests. Oh wait, I have no insurance so they'll probably just give me a script for whatever and throw me out.
