This is a little disturbing. Ok disturbing is a little harsh, maybe dorky.

1. This is the greatest music video of all-time...
And it isn't even close.

And the keyboard player has offically passed Jack Nicolson as Coolest Human Being Alive...

2. Very powerful!
Words fail, which is good, since I'm speechless.

11. Dude that was the dorkiest video I have ever seen.
And growing up in the 80's with MTV just starting, I have seen some bad ones.

4. LOL. I thought the women were topless for a while...
might as well have been tan lines! Made me think "has anyone ever made a bikini top that was flesh colored with nipples drawn on them?"

very silly and oh-so-seventies

6. The tune is okay
but that video deserves a Razzie all its own!

I confess--I grew up with all the boy bands of the 60s. So this tune pretty much falls into that era.

7. This looks like a '70s porn clip
I couldn't stop laughing - I remember the tune but can't tell you the name. It COULD be German or Danish.

Ahhh the '70s - the decade that good taste completely missed........

10. Tommy Seebach is correct
Edited on Sat Apr-16-05 09:05 AM by RetroLounge
The song is Apache, and is a cover of a late 50's or early 60's tune which, by the way, I own on 45rpm.

Edit: Apache by the Shadows (1960) released in England and was a huge hit there. Covered immediately by Jorgen Ingmann and went #1 in the states.

16. And yet the 70s gave us Abbey Road and the Doobie Brothers.
Someone should submit the entire decade to the Oxford English Dictionary as the perfect example of "paradox."

18. Yeah, that is strange.
It was full of paradoxes. We have this one end, John Lennon, Led Zeppelin, Bowie, Queen, etc...on the other. I guess what I mean is that pop music in the 70's was so asinine and fake. There was definitely good music in that time period though and some charismatic people. This guy was not one of them. ;)

When I tried saving the movie, it only saves as a playlist. I want the movie itself. Anyone have any ideas?

23. Right click the link in the DU message and click "save target as."
Worked for me, though why I'm saving it I don't know. Guess to show how far we have evolved as a species in spite of what one would think from the US political scene.
