I completely agree with what you have opined in your article, George W. Nixon. There is one slight mischaracterization that you made that I humbly present to you. You conclude your article with this statement:

“But the Bush White House is becoming Nixon-like, with a smile and, of course, good manners. It’s re-election time and it’s CREEP-Y.”

It isn’t that the Bush White House is ‘becoming’ Nixon-like, it’s that people are starting to get fed up with the secrecy, lies and abuse of power and the people and, thankfully, the journalists, are finally speaking up. Nothing has changed in the Bush White House. It has been marked with this traits since the beginning.
