MSNBC: President to abandon his vacation tomorrow
& return to DC. Just shown on live TV, while he gives speech at San Diego.

Wasn't he planning on leaving tomorrow anyway?

He might have to do two or three days' worth of HARD WORK before enjoying a leisurely three-day holiday.

7. Abandoned?
Yes. Despite the fact that he was SUPPOSED to go back to work tomorrow, I love how it sounds like he's having to endure hardship. Damn the dead and homeless for making the President actually have to do work!

14. He cares nothing for the homeless or the dead
the only thing he mourns is the loss of profits from that sweet, sweet crude (which they'll more than make up for by price gouging).

15. Awwww...izzums gonna have to WORK?
Changing plans isn't very manly, is it? Sounds sorta panicky to me; that's the kind of thing a nervous nellie does when things aren't going as well as he says...

How can he swagger while scampering?

16. No! Silverspoon Stay On Vacation
He can do less damage hiding from Sheehan in Crawford.

The less he's in D.C. impersonating a president the better.

18. More like: "President postpones Katrina response until after vacation".
He didn't "abandon" anything but his own constituents.

23. "In order to lead Hurrican relief"... MSNBC
They have further said that he is returning tomorrow in order to lead the Hurricane relief.... why wait until tomorrow? Isn't that like continuing to read to children while WTC gets struck by airplanes?

You'd think the moran would have learned how to move his feet....
