and uses those to "answer" questions. The fact that the pat speech, usually a snip of a larger campaign speech, doesn't actually answer the question is lost on most people. "Close enough" seems to be good enough for both Fuckwit and his backers.

Once he gets away from those pat speeches, though, all hell breaks loose, and you see just how disorganized his mentation really is. It's scary that such a sick man is the supposed head of the government (although we know it's really been Cheney all this time).

Pretty soon, he'll be unable to do even the minimal job as front man. His condition continues to deteriorate rapidly, and I suspect he's binge drinking on the sly.

I'd feel sorry for him if he hadn't been such a waste of protoplasm his whole life.

Republicans in general do not issue their edicts for discussion or opinion. Like all good Kings and Queens and Dictators they expect unquestioning obedience. Bush is worse than most in this respect because doesn't have the skills to stand on his feet and argue his case intelligently.
