Dominican Republic announces the withdrawal of its troops
DOMINICAN President Hipólito Mejía has confirmed the "immediate" return of 360 Dominican troops deployed in Najaf and attached to the Plus-Ultra Brigade.

The country’s Secretary of the Armed Forces, José Miguel Soto Jiménez, clarified that the withdrawal would take place "in 15 days at most."

The Dominican Republic sent 300 relief soldier to Iraq in February to replace another group that returned at the beginning of the year after completing their tour of duty there.

The announcement that Spain was withdrawing its troops from Iraq has already taken hold in other countries. The first to follow that decision was Honduras, while other governments have also announced that they are not prepared to stay in Iraq past June 30.

6. Drip, drip, drip.
So much for the Coalition of the Shilling.

Of course, I would check the reliability of a story from Granma.

7. Wow. This is good news. The Coalition of the
Disgusted just gave George W. an F-. An F for failure to disclose everything about the war, F for putting our soldiers in harm's way, and most of all F for being a Fool.

I think it's great that the coalition is packing its bags and heading home. I'm really worried about our troops, though. They're alone there.
