(10,622 posts)I noticed the dynamic of big land counties with fewer people choosing Bootigieg or Steyer bucking the trend in Nevada. There may be something to look at regarding the country dynamic, specifically in whiter, older areas. I have lived in the city (medium sized) my whole life and did about half my work in the suburbs, never did get to know very many rural folks and have no idea what they think. I know they appear to like right wing radio or church radio judging by what's on the air driving through the country between my city to another.
I think I might try to phone bank in a way to target such people, if they are working class, a working people's type agenda should appeal to them if one can get past the corporate favoring media programming most people are subjected to. I think if another decent regular working class person has an honest conversation one on one with them, they'd find they have more in common with the coalition than they might think.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
