It's a big party. People have different beliefs and expectations. Take the TPP for instance. Some people, Democrats even, favor the TPP -- not because they're evil, stupid, or Republicans-in-disguise -- but because their expectation is that the TPP would be good for the country. That might be right and it might be wrong, but the fundamental assumption in civil discussion is that everyone in the discussion shares the same desire to increase the public good.
I happen to be opposed to the TPP for a variety of ethical reasons, some of them deep. But I'm not going to lose my shit and call a fellow Democrat every name in the book because she sees things differently from me.
