(15,480 posts)It would be fair to state that all true progressive Democrats, including "Bernie and his supporters" would like to see the augean stable known as Debbie Wasserman's DNC swept clean of it's wheeling/dealing - but pray tell, do tell us how sending money to the pro-Clinton DNC during the primary season would benefit Sanders one red cent!
And/or do provide any, I repeat ANY link quoting Bernie as pro DNC.

Now as to Hillary and her supporters, it's a different story.

Thank you, history and the web - the truth shall set us free!

Delegate Battles Snarl Democrats in Two States
By MICHAEL LUO and JOHN M. BRODER
Published: March 15, 2008
Democrats in Michigan and Florida struggled Friday to resolve the impasse over their disputed January primaries, coming up with a plan to hold a June primary in Michigan while remaining deadlocked in Florida.
Reflecting how tense the situation has become, influential fund-raisers for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton have stepped up their behind-the-scenes pressure on national party leaders to resolve the matter, with some even threatening to withhold their donations to the Democratic National Committee unless it seats the delegates from the two states or holds new primaries there.
Pushing to seat the Florida delegates, at least one top Clinton fund-raiser, Paul Cejas, a Miami businessman who has given the Democratic National Committee $63,500 since 2003, has demanded Democratic officials return his 2007 contribution of $28,500, which they have agreed to do. If youre not going to count my vote, Im not going to give you my money, said Mr. Cejas, who was the United States ambassador to Belgium from 1998 to 2001.
Christopher Korge, a Florida real estate developer who is another top fund-raiser for Mrs. Clinton, held an event last year in his home that brought in about $140,000 for the national party, which was set aside in a special account for the general election battle in Florida. But he told committee officials this week that if Floridas delegate conundrum was not settled satisfactorily he would be asking for the money back. If we do not resolve this issue, Mr. Korge said, I think its safe to say there will be a request for a return of $140,000.

Hillary urging donors to blackmail DNC into stealing the election for her
3/15/08 1:12pm by John Aravosis
Im really getting sick of Hillarys crap. Fighting tough is welcome. Fighting dirty is not. I liked Hillary. Joe and I reached out to her campaign to help them two years ago. Now, Im starting to wonder if even a small portion of the past vilification of the Clintons wasnt justified. I mean, urging your donors, for all intents and purposes, to blackmail the Democratic party? In essence, telling your donors that if you cant be the nominee then the Democrats should lose the election? (And thats exactly whats happening. Hillary wants the DNC to seat the delegates from the non-election that happened in Florida after the state willfully violated DNC rules, knowing full well what would happen if they did. Now Hillary wants all those delegates seated, from the non-election, so she can steal the election from Obama). Is it any wonder that 25% of Hillarys supporters say they wont support Obama in the general election? Hillary is the one telling them that they shouldnt support Obama, that they shouldnt support their own party. Howard Dean should tell Hillary Lieberman stop her crap, now, or resign from the Democratic party. Contrary to Her Majestys thinking, there are other Democrats worthy of leading our country. Read more about Hillarys latest attempt to steal the election, from the NYT.
