The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today added Critz to their "Frontline" program, which assists incumbents facing tough reelection races.

DCCC Chairman Steve Israel today announced Congressman Mark Critz (PA-12) is being added to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's Frontline program, following his victory this week in the Pennsylvania primary.
"With just over six months until Election Day, Democrats continue to be on offense, but we are also working to protect our incumbents in tough races to ensure they have the tools to build winning campaigns," said DCCC Chairman Steve Israel. "After winning a competitive primary this week in Pennsylvania, we are adding Congressman Mark Critz to our Frontline program to help make sure he has the support needed to compete and win in November. Mark is a battle-tested leader who has shown he knows how to win tough races and is focused on fighting to create jobs and standing up for families, the middle class, veterans, and small businesses in his district."

The Frontline program is chaired by Congressman Jim Himes (CT.) Unlike previous cycles, Frontline Membership changes as a result of the political landscape and redistricting.

The Frontline Program

The Frontline Program is a partnership between the DCCC and Members which lays the groundwork for the 2012 cycle by supporting and expanding their fundraising and outreach operations. Frontline Members must sign a memorandum of understanding that requires Members to meet aggressive fundraising goals, accelerate volunteer and recruitment efforts, and increase their online networking.
