The GOPers are happy to take the economy over the "cliff" (more of a gully, actually) because they won't take any deal that involved any tax cuts. It's odd that it doesn't seem to have occurred to them that the "cliff" results in tax increases for everybody.

But there's a whole lotta stupid going on...
