...To me it appears he applies the crying bit when he's too drunk to talk.
I don't think the tears are real or brought on by booze, I think he's covering up his drunk stuttering. Either way, he's messed up.

I've always avoided watching the guy so his drunkenness is all new to me; If my insight above is common knowledge, then I apolog...I app...I....sniff sniff.
