10. Serious people get taken seriously

It's not enough to be loud and obnoxious in a space that facilitates and rewards loud and obnoxious. Do the hard work. Change the party, or start a new one.

In the end, one of the most troubling elements in Sanders candidacy was the fact that in 28 years in Congress, he never did the hard work involved in converting an agenda into policy.
