(786 posts)74. I said this and I meant it. It reminds me of the Bush days when all of the evidence was there right
in front of his supporters yet they chose to ignore it. This was worse even during his second go round. We were attacked on 9/11, sold a bill of good that put us into a quagmire and also in Afghanistan. Yet there were all kinds of excuses for Bush and attacks on everything and everyone else that didn't agree with him. It was insane. Evidence was right there in front of these people and they just would not accept it.
They chose to support needless war over peace. Losing our rights to privacy as citizens, tax cuts again for the wealthy, obvious ties to the Saudi who were involved in 9/11, Abu Gahrib, Hurricane Katrina.....but no their minds were made up and no matter what George W Bush was their guy.
