are extra sensitive. I agree there's a bias, and I get that jittery feeling in my stomach when I hear that BS too, but that's why we are here on DU. We're biased too in our own way, but what I see here is people with hopes but not agendas trying to be realistic. I'm tired of them manufacturing their own news, heck with reality. For me, TV is no longer for news, it's strictly entertainment. There are numerous more reputable sources out there. If you have any doubt about their need to stir the pot, just watch during sweeps when local news channels try to scare the heck out of you about something for 10 minutes (your car battery could explode in your face and burn your eyes out! Just look at these unfortunate yokels!) and the weakass solution to the terrible problem (wear goggles when you open the hood of your car?) is reduced two 2 sentences of banter between the feature reporter and the news anchor.
