23. No clue. I do know that Mr. Greenspan and Bubba sure worked hand in hand

on repeal of Glass Steagall and on passage of the Commodities Futures Modernization Act of 2000 to which Hillary referred, rather misleadingly, during this debate.

The Clinton White House and Greenspan lobbied hard for that bill and, of course, Bubba signed it.* Sanders had voted for it in the House. After Sanders voted, a Senate compromise added the language that allowed crap mortgage derivatives to go unregulated. The bill was very instrumental in near economic collapse in 2008 of several nations, including ours.

Also, she said Sanders was the only one on the stage who voted for it, as though she and/or O'Malley voted against it. Neither one of them could vote on it at the time. If they could have, are we to imagine that she would have voted against a bill for which her husband and Summers had lobbied hard?

Very misleading all around on Hillary's part!

*The lobbying by Clinton's White House was so that Bubba could claim an allegedly "veto proof majority." I don't recall if he ever got it.
