When I got back in-country I was an addict... I know 1st hand once a addict always an addict. I got lucky and with some help of a good woman and the V.A I got clean.(No arrest record of my past indiscretions.)However most states have recognized that some people do come out the other side of addictions a better person . So if it's a felony that prohibits you from voting, or owning a weapon, that can be changed (at least in most states) so grab a lawyer and file the papers... Again congrats on 30 years of staying clean. That is a great thing, Pay it forward and help others in the same positions we were in.
