from robbers come in to last shot fired. These things happen very fast.

My main criticism would be the last shot fired out the door could be seen as excessive by an overzealous prosecutor. OTH if the robber appeared to be turning to fire a shot, remember nobody could tell the gun didn't work, it would be entirely justified.
