5. Been making this since 1973 - turns out great every time

6 c. rolled oats
1 c. sunflower seeds
1 c. sesame seeds
1 c. wheat germ
1 c. coconut
1 c. dried milk powder
1 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. raisins

Preheat oven to 250 F. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and spread onto a baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes and stir the granola halfway through baking time. Cool and store in an airtight container.

We've carried this granola with us while backpacking. You can just add water instead of carrying milk with you .
