A very blood civil war broke out and things are arguably worse between the 2 people now, more than 6 decades later.

What makes you think a 1-state solution would work out better now? And further, what makes you believe the vast majority of Palestinians want to live in a secular, western style democracy when well over 80% vote Hamas or Fatah and prefer that style of government?

Blind faith?

Sectarian violence is the norm in the mideast neighborhood. Islamists are making Christians an endangered species throughout that region. What makes you think in an Arab majority Palestine that they would treat Jews better than Christians?

More simple faith?
