I really want to like Linux. However . . . [View all]

I have booted Slacko Puppy Linux v. 5.3.3 from a CD. It is so nice to be able to use my laptop again! However, I'm not able to find drivers for my printer (Lexmark Prospect Pro 205). Lexmark support is not very helpful (quelle surprise).

Here are the versions that are available for my printer: Debian, Fedora, Open SUSE, Linux Mint, PC Linux, and Ubuntu.

Should I give up on Puppy Linux and just use a version that is listed above, or is there a way I can work around it?

~ Thanks ~
