...rub everyone's noses in our fine weather (yearly Rose Parade anyone? What's that but "Nah-nah! You're under snow and we're not!&quot , easy living (surfing, car culture, Beverly Hills), haute cuisine, and the fact that we get to see movie stars on a daily basis. Hey, I'd hate us, too if I didn't live here.

Luckily, we Californians are so self-absorbed that we don't notice or care what anyone else thinks of us. Hate away; we're happy and livin' the California dream.
