Normally, when it snows here, it's also gray as can be, so despite my having dozens of "snow" pics, this batch is the only bunch that actually do the white stuff justice. I took one from further out in the pasture of the snow covering the mountain that's in the background of the one I posted and the sun is lighting up just the bottom half...that one is actually my favorite, cause I love that hill.
That poor little house in the pic is now under threat by our landlady, as it has developed a pretty precarious lean due to so many high water years (and snow melts); she hates the way it looks and is determined to knock it down. Our landlord grew up on this property and his aunt used to live in it, so if his wife wins out, I'm gonna frame that sunset pic and present it to him, ha!
