Showing Original Post only (View all)I'm going to use my 20,000th post for a rant about soup. [View all]
I just made a can of Progresso "Rich and Hearty" Clam Chowder.
There was nary a DAMN CLAM to be found. Lots of potatoes, but no CLAMS. A slight clam taste could be detected, but no CLAMS! I've bought it in the past and the clams are always scarse, but there are CLAMS.
NO CLAMS THIS TIME! I will never buy their stupid soup again, and I'm going online now to see if I can complain about the fact that there were NO CLAMS in my damn CLAM chowder!
Grrr.

There's probably BPA lining the can anyway. Make soup from scratch. It's a great

With the packaged stocks available, you don't even need to go totally from scratch

Look on the bright side, it won't break the bank--and it's better than the Progresso.

Funny you should mention Progresso Soup. I think there have been changes in recipes.
