at the very end of the video clip. I wondered about its aggressive behavior, if it might have rabies.

That was very abnormal behavior, even with provocation. Most animals will run away; not fight back like that. It's too bad the cat had to be killed, but if it had rabies not only was that woman exposed, but anybody else who handled the cat would have been exposed and need to take the post-exposure rabies vaccine. Unfortunately, they still seem to only be able to confirm rabies by looking at the brain.

You don't have to actually get bitten. If any saliva gets on a cut or scratch -- and they can be microscopically small -- they would be at risk.
